The Official Finnish Charts

The Official Finnish Charts (Finnish: Suomen virallinen lista, Swedish: Finlands officiella lista) is a national record chart in Finland composed by Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland.[1]

The singles chart was started in January 1991 as Radiomafian lista and was broadcast on the radio station Radiomafia (now YleX) of the Finnish Broadcasting Company, YLE. This chart is based on a combination of sales and airplay and co-existed with the official Finland Singles Chart which was just based on sales. Then the combined sales and airplay chart became the official list in 1994.[2]

Presently the following weekly charts are composed and published by Musiikkituottajat, according to sales only:[3]

In addition, Musiikkituottajat owns and publishes a digital chart which tracks digital sales of songs and is compiled by the The Official UK Chart Company.[4]
